Kinar Saathi is a premier government initiative by the Government of Maharashtra, dedicated to empowering the transgender community through comprehensive support systems covering healthcare, education, employment, legal aid, and social security.
We strive to ensure dignity, equality, and social justice for all transgender individuals in accordance with the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act, 2019 and the historic NALSA judgment of the Supreme Court of India.
We envision a society where transgender individuals live with full dignity and are treated as equal members of the community, with access to all fundamental rights and services.
By 2030, we aim to establish support centers in every district, create sustainable livelihood opportunities, and ensure zero discrimination in public services and employment.
"Equality is not a privilege, it is a fundamental right of every citizen."
